Fire and Ice mandala painting

“Fire and Ice” is the first contemporary mandala painting in my professional series exhibited in juried shows, including Crème de la Crème in Frisco. This 30x30 inch gallery-wrapped acrylic artwork marked the beginning of my journey into modern mandala expressions.

Mandalas have long been revered as sacred symbols of wholeness and balance, used in meditation and spiritual practice to center the mind. “Fire and Ice” embodies this spirit, with fiery yellow tones seamlessly blending into tranquil blues — symbolizing harmony between opposing forces. Each element is created using stroke work, a meticulous technique that challenges balance and precision without relying on enclosed forms.

Protected with a UV-resistant varnish and wired for immediate hanging, this piece brings calm, energy, and a bold visual rhythm to any space.
